Açık Stüdyo has been established in 2016 by Bahar Nihal Ersözlü and Şafak Ersözlü with the aim of opening new spaces for contemporary performance practices. The collective defines itself as a performance researches initiative which has been inaugurated in a black box in the centre of Izmir.
